RULES - RESERVES

1.0 SQUAD SIZE
The reserve team will always consist of at least 18 un-named players.
 
2.0 LEAGUE STRUCTURE
The league which your reserve team will play in will be based on the league that your 1st team starts in at the start of every new season.
 
3.0 GAMES AND TACTICS
Reserve team games will be played every time any league games take place, usually the day after the 1st team league games have been played. Every reserve team game will be played using the 442N formation and the team shall be selected using the TSC program. All the relevant information will be emailed out to every manager once all the games information has been collated.
 
4.0 RESERVE MOVES
You can make 1 move per week involving the reserve league. This could be either moving a named player from the 1st team to the reserves, or a named 1st team player back from the reserves to the 1st team, or both. It is not possible to move 2 players in the same direction. Normal transfer deadlines apply for reserve swaps to be available for the next coming games.
 
5.0 RESERVE PLAYER AGE RESTRICTION
The oldest an unnamed player can be in the reserve team is 21 years old. Once a player reaches 21, if he is not promoted permanently to the 1st team at the end of the season then he will be named and released onto the free agents list. He will then be open for any other team to add to their 1st team squad.
 
6.0 STAT CAP
For named 1st team goalkeepers and defenders to be able to play in the reserves, his main stat must be no more than 14 for all leagues. For 1st team midfielders and forwards to be able to play in a reserve game, his main stat can be no more than a 13 for all leagues.
 
7.0 PROMOTION OF PLAYERS
You will be able to promote 2 players to the 1st team per season, both at the end of the season, the player will then be given a name by the game commissioner.
 
8.0 POTENTIAL STARS
Each reserve team has the chance of producing a "Star" player who will have the chance of becoming a top rated player. The only players eligible are UNNAMED reserve team players.
At the end of each reserve season, the UNNAMED reserve player's who are top of ALL OF THE RESERVE LEAGUE'S in the area's below will trigger the chance for that player to become a "Star" player:-

If one of your UNNAMED reserve player's tops any of the above area's then the games commissioner will inform you via email where you will also be asked to name the player to enable him to play in the 1st team. Once the player is eligible to play in the first team then his chance of becoming a "Star" player will be activated. From this point onwards the "Star" player will be awarded a set amount of ability points per game that he plays in, for the first season the "Star" player is promoted to the first team the set amount of ability points that will be awarded as follows:-
Each FULL game (At least 80 mins) - 200 ability points.
Sub Appearance (At least 45 mins) - 100 ability points.
Sub Appearance (At least 20 mins)- 50 ability points.
The "Star" player will continue to earn the above points for the first 2 season's that he plays in the first team, however, if his main stat should reach within 1 full stat point of the best player in his position then the above ability points will cease to be awarded and ability points shall be awarded as per normal. No stat points shall be awarded for the "Star" player playing in the reserves.
The "Star" player will be eligible for any ability points normally awarded to youth player at the end of the season, Manager of the Month points or Player if the Season ability point awards.
 
9.0 EXPERIENCE BONUS
Any un-named youth player, (e.g. a player named arsPlayer_1), who has played 20 games or more will receive 400 ability points to each of their ability areas. One exception to this rule is an outfield player will not receive an increase to their “St/Keeper” stat and keepers will only receive ability points to their “St/Keeper” area.
